|Schedule:||The Siting Board met on May 7, 2003 to determine eligibility for an ArticleX Certificate. The Certificate was issued on May 8, 2003 and is available through the electronic file room above.
A Recommended Decision (RD) was issued by the Administrative Law Judges on February 4, 2003. Briefs on Exceptions to this Recommended Decision are due to be filed on February 18, 2003.
Initial Briefs were filed on September 24, 2002; Reply Briefs were filed on October 8, 2002.
Evidentiary Hearings were held in August 2002 at the Public Service Commission's New York City offices at One Penn Plaza (Borough of Manhattan).
An issues conference was held in May 10, 2002, at the New York State Public Service Commission's offices in New York City.
A public statement hearing was held on May 7, 2002 at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration Auditorium.
On March 28, 2002, the Chairman informed the Company that the application was in compliance with requirements of Article X and the stipulations, but required filing of supplemental information prior to the initial hearing date.
The Article X application was filed on January 28, 2002. On March 28, 2002, DEC informed the Chairman of the Siting Board that the air and water permit applications were complete and has prepared draft air and water permits.
A public process forum was held by the New York State agencies involved in the licensing process on October 3, 2001 at the W.E. Howitt School Auditorium, 70 Van Cott Avenue, Farmingdale, NY.
