A Joint Settlement Agreement, signed by several parties, was presented to the hearing examiners on June 18, 2003.
A Procedural Conference was held on June 10, 2003.
A Final Ruling on issues was issued on September 27, 2002.
A Technical Issues Conference was held on August 27 and 28, 2002.
An "Open House" was held by Besicorp Empire Development Company on August 26, 2002.
An Issues Conference was held on July 10, 2002.
Public information hearings were held on July 9 at the Rensselaer High School. Transcripts of the joint record with the Department of Environmental Conservation Legislative Hearings, include public comments on the proposed facilities.
The Chairman advised Besicorp-Empire Development Co., LLC that its application was complete by letter dated May 28, 2002.
Application was filed December 20, 2001.
Air permit application filed at Department of Environmental Conservation on October 19, 2001.
DPS/DEC held a public meeting on scoping and stipulations for the Besicorp proposed electric generation newsprint project on May 24, 2001.
PSC public information forum was held on Tuesday, January 30, 2001.
The Preliminary Scoping Statement (PSS) was filed on November 22, 2000.
|Comments:||This Article X project was reviewed in a coordinated process with the proposed Empire State Newsprint Project. NYS DEC is the lead agency in the review pursuant to SEQRA for the manufactured newsprint recycling facility.
